LEBANON, Ind. — A Guatemalan man dwelling illegally in the U.S. and charged in a drunken crash that killed Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson and one other man has been charged in an unrelated case.
Boone County Prosecutor Todd Meyer filed fees of perjury, forgery, id deception and misdemeanor false informing Tuesday towards 37-year-old Manuel Orrego-Savala. Meyer says Orrego-Savala gave police a false id throughout his 2017 arrest and prosecution for misdemeanor driving with out a license.
Orrego-Savala was charged final week in Marion County with two counts every of failing to stay on the scene of an accident and inflicting dying whereas driving intoxicated stemming from the Feb. four crash that killed Jackson and Jackson’s Uber driver, Jeffrey Monroe.
