One man killed, two wounded in shooting in Utah: police

(Reuters) – One man was killed and two different males have been wounded in a shooting outdoors Salt Lake City on Tuesday, and police stated have been searching for whoever carried out the assault.

The shooting occurred in a residential neighborhood of West Valley City, West Valley City police stated in a press release on Twitter. No additional info of the victims was supplied.

“Suspect(s) not in custody. Investigation underway,” the assertion stated.

A police spokeswoman didn’t instantly return a name or e-mail looking for remark.

In one other incident a couple of miles away, an individual was shot in town of South Salt Lake and was transported to a hospital, the Salt Lake Tribune reported, citing police.

It was not instantly clear if the two incidents have been associated. A consultant for South Salt Lake police couldn’t be reached for remark.
